Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves overseeing two kitchens, ensuring food quality and safety standards are maintained, and inspiring a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve excellence. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in menu development, staff training, and maintaining high standards of hospitality across all outlets.

Duties

Lead and supervise the entire culinary team, including sous chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring efficient operations across multiple venues.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation meet brand standards.
Develop innovative menus that cater to diverse customer preferences while maintaining cost efficiency.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards in all kitchens.
Manage inventory, procurement, and stock control to minimise waste and optimise resources.
Train and mentor staff to enhance their skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service.
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety.
Implement new cooking techniques or trends to keep menus fresh and engaging.
Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve any issues promptly.

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation with a strong culinary portfolio.
Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams effectively.
Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management.
Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
Knowledge of menu development, food costing, and inventory control is desirable.
Previous leadership roles such as Head Chef are preferred but not essential if complemented by relevant experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional eager to lead a talented team in delivering outstanding dining experiences across multiple venues.

Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
