Full job description

Overview
We are seeking an Assistant baker to join our team in our Production manufacturing . This position would be daytime, shifts would be during our core hours. Flexible start/end times for the right candidate.

We produce a variety of bakery goods.

The successful candidate will be responsible for weighing ingredients, preparing a variety of bakery items, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and food safety are maintained at all times. Previous experience in a bakery environment is preferred, but essential.

Responsibilities

Assisting in the preparation of a range of bakery products, including cakes, cheesecakes, mousses, biscuits, and other baked goods.
Ensure all food preparation adheres to strict food safety and hygiene standards.
Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
Measure ingredients accurately and follow recipes precisely to ensure consistency in product quality.
Support the team during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders without compromising quality.
Follow all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.

Qualifications

Experience in food production, food preparation, or baking is preferred, but not a essential .
Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices in a commercial environment.
