Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior <PERSON> to lead our culinary team with passion and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation, kitchen operations, and team management to ensure the delivery of exceptional dining experiences. Your leadership will inspire a cohesive, motivated team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and hospitality. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned culinary professional eager to drive excellence in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. We operate on a 4 day working week, and flexible around individual requirements.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety standards
Lead and mentor culinary staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and quality across all dishes
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to optimize efficiency
Implement best practices in food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols in compliance with regulatory requirements
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service and exceptional guest experiences
Develop new menu items and improve existing recipes to keep offerings innovative and appealing

Requirements

Proven supervising experience in a busy food production or restaurant setting
Extensive kitchen experience with strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team management and staff development
Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality environments
Experience in restaurant operations, including serving, cooking, and hospitality service standards
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and guest satisfaction

Pay: From £37,500.00 per year
