Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various residential and commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and experience in janitorial services to contribute to a professional and hygienic environment.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial sites, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, including floors, windows, restrooms, and communal areas.
Follow specified cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain consistency and efficiency.
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll as needed.
Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly.
Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to cleaning tasks.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or evenings if required.
Must have your own reliable transport (own car essential, as travel between sites is required)
Must hold valid business/vehicle insurance covering work-related travel
Must be DBS checked or willing to get DBS checked

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
