Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating exceptional customer experiences. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and providing excellent service to our patrons. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that guests enjoy their time with us, making it essential to possess strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of food safety practices.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is clean and well-maintained.
Assist customers with their drink selections, providing recommendations when necessary.
Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible drinking practices are upheld.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders alongside drinks.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and report any shortages or issues to management.

Skills

Strong knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes.
Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
Effective time management abilities to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations is essential.
Ability to work well in a team environment within a fast-paced restaurant setting.
