Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with a variety of outdoor and construction-related tasks, contributing to landscape maintenance, construction projects, and general site upkeep. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, and capable of working in diverse environments. Previous experience in construction is essential, This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills across multiple trades and contribute to ongoing projects.

Duties

Assisting with maintenance i
Operating hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and efficiently
Supporting excavation activities using excavators and other machinery
Installing and maintaining irrigation systems as required
Performing general site maintenance such as clearing debris, organising materials, and ensuring safety standards are met
Assisting with construction tasks including material handling and basic assembly work
Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of work areas throughout the day
Supporting team members with specialised tasks related to horticulture and general site development

Requirements

Previous experience in construction is mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and hand tools is advantageous
Ability to operate or learn how to operate machinery such as excavators or irrigation systems
Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy loads and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow safety protocols
Valid <PERSON> (if applicable) or willingness to obtain necessary certifications before commencing work
