Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care, supporting children's development, and fostering a safe, nurturing environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about early years education and committed to making a positive impact on young children's lives.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Supervise and support children during play, learning activities, mealtimes, and outdoor play.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress to inform planning and ensure individual needs are met.
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and independence.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children's well-being and developmental goals.
Demonstrate excellent childcare practices, including behaviour management and effective communication with children.
Manage daily routines efficiently while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills

Experience working with children in nursery or early childhood education environments.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare.
Organised with the ability to plan effectively whilst remaining flexible to meet children's needs.
Passionate about early childhood education with a nurturing approach that promotes children's well-being and learning outcomes.

Extra Information

This is a term-time only position; however, salary is paid pro rata over 12 months, providing consistent monthly pay throughout the year.

Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
