Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized Part Time Office Assistant to join our dynamic team! This energetic role offers the opportunity to support daily office operations, ensure smooth administrative workflows, and contribute to a positive work environment. As a vital member of our team, you will handle a variety of clerical tasks, assist with data entry, and maintain efficient office procedures. This position is perfect for someone eager to develop their administrative skills while working in a lively and supportive setting.

Duties

Manage incoming phone calls with professionalism and courteous phone etiquette, directing inquiries appropriately
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace tools, and QuickBooks
Organize and maintain files, documents, and office supplies to ensure a tidy and efficient workspace
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and calendar management for staff members
Support clerical tasks such as copying, scanning, mailing, and filing important documents
Enter financial data into QuickBooks and update records regularly to ensure accuracy
Provide general administrative support to team members as needed to facilitate daily operations

Experience

Previous office experience or administrative experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar)
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Demonstrated typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry
Knowledge of basic accounting or QuickBooks is a plus but not mandatory
Ability to communicate professionally via phone and email with diverse stakeholders
Familiarity with clerical procedures and office equipment such as printers and scanners
