Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team in a front-of-house and bar position. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those with a passion for hospitality and customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with strong organisational skills and a friendly demeanour. This paid position is ideal for someone looking to develop their career within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks and food to customers efficiently and courteously, maintaining high standards of service.
Prepare and organise the bar area, ensuring all equipment is clean and stocked appropriately.
Take orders accurately using proper serving techniques, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations.
Manage cash transactions accurately, including handling payments and giving correct change.
Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring the dining area remains tidy throughout service.
Support team members during busy periods, contributing to a smooth operation.
Uphold health and safety standards at all times, recognising potential hazards around the premises.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of food safety procedures.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
Good knowledge of serving techniques and beverage preparation.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong organisational abilities to manage time effectively during busy periods.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
Flexibility to adapt to varying shift patterns as required by the establishment’s hours of operation.

Pay: £12.70-£13.40 per hour
