LOOKING FOR CARERS BASED IN NW, W, N LONDON

Overview

We are looking for caring, reliable, and motivated Domiciliary Care Workers to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference within their local community. We welcome applicants with previous care experience as well as those looking to develop a long-term career in health and social care. All roles are paid, including training and internship opportunities where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support clients with mobility, transfers, and the safe use of mobility equipment where required.
Prepare and serve meals in line with individual dietary needs and preferences.
Prompt or administer medication in accordance with care plans and company procedures.
Deliver compassionate support to individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, physical disabilities, or those receiving end-of-life care.
Offer companionship and encourage social engagement to enhance clients' emotional wellbeing.
Carry out light household duties to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
Accompany or transport clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, or community activities where appropriate.
Follow individual care plans, monitor clients' wellbeing, and report any concerns or changes promptly.
Respond appropriately in emergency situations and follow first aid procedures when necessary.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date care records and communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals.

About You

Previous experience in domiciliary care, residential care, assisted living, or a similar healthcare setting is desirable.
An understanding of person-centred care and experience supporting individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's is an advantage.
First Aid training or certification is beneficial but not essential.
A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are preferred.
Physically able to assist with moving and handling tasks where required.
Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
A caring, patient, and respectful approach with a genuine passion for supporting others.
Flexible and reliable, with availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends where required.
Committed to delivering high-quality care that promotes independence, choice, and dignity at all times.

Pay: £13.85-£14.80 per hour
