Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Car Mechanic with expertise in car electrics, alongside a Receptionist and Car Service Intermediary. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in automotive repair, electrical systems, and customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team, providing essential maintenance and repair services while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to develop their skills across multiple facets of automotive care.

Duties

Diagnose and repair electrical systems within vehicles using schematics and technical manuals
Perform mechanical repairs, including engine work, brake servicing, and suspension adjustments
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks
Conduct vehicle inspections to identify faults and necessary repairs
Assemble or replace components as required, ensuring adherence to safety standards
Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts utilised
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair details clearly and professionally
Manage reception duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting customers, and handling inquiries
Assist with heavy lifting tasks during the movement of vehicles or parts around the workshop
Ensure the workshop remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations

Experience

Proven experience in automotive electrical systems and mechanical repairs
Familiarity with schematics, assembly procedures, and equipment repair techniques
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance procedures
Previous customer service experience is advantageous but not essential
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during routine tasks
Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics software is desirable but not mandatory

This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Pay: £1,500.00-£3,500.00 per month
