QA Specialist (Quality Assurance)

Maxearn Ltd | Full-Time | 37.5 Hours per Week

Are you a detail-oriented quality professional with a passion for compliance, continuous improvement, and maintaining the highest standards? Maxearn is seeking a proactive QA Specialist to join our Quality team and play a key role in supporting our pharmaceutical operations. Based within a fast-paced and highly regulated environment, you'll help ensure our products, systems, and processes meet GMP and GDP requirements while supporting the ongoing growth of the business.

The Role

As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for quality administration, database management, quality systems support, and ensuring compliance with GMP and company procedures. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies to maintain high standards of quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Review finished batch records and GMP release documentation.
Support regulatory licence approvals and inspection readiness.
Manage and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS), CAPAs, deviations, change controls, and non-conformance records.
Maintain quality databases, metrics, master lists, and documentation.
Generate, review, issue, and control SOPs, forms, and batch manufacturing records.
Investigate quality issues, complaints, deviations, and recalls.
Liaise with suppliers to obtain quality and regulatory documentation.
Support internal and external audits and inspections.
Prepare quality reports and analyse quality data.
Work collaboratively with departments across the business to drive quality improvements and compliance initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

Scientific degree, preferably in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related discipline.

Essential Skills & Experience

Experience in an administrative office-based role.
Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
A proactive, flexible, and quality-focused approach.
Ability to meet strict deadlines and take ownership of responsibilities.

Desirable

Pharmaceutical industry experience.
Product release experience.
Knowledge of GMP guidelines and Regulatory Affairs.
Problem-solving and root cause investigation experience.
Experience working within quality management systems.
