Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Pharmacy Sales Assistant or dispenser, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help deliver exceptional patient care and support to our community. In this vital role, you will assist customers with their pharmacy needs, provide accurate medication information, and ensure a welcoming and efficient environment. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance with their pharmacy purchases and inquiries
Support pharmacy staff by organizing medication stock, checking inventory levels, and restocking shelves as needed
Assist with medication administration procedures under supervision, ensuring proper storage and labeling of pharmaceuticals
Provide accurate information about over-the-counter products, health supplements, and basic medication usage instructions
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy area to uphold safety standards and a welcoming environment
Help manage patient records, process prescriptions, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to deliver excellent patient care and support medication management efforts

Qualifications

Previous experience as a pharmacy assitant or in a related healthcare role is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy operations is highly desirable
Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
A proactive attitude with a desire to learn about pharmaceutical products and healthcare services
Basic computer literacy for managing records and processing transactions
