Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Waiter/Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and a positive attitude. Your enthusiasm for food, beverages, and guest satisfaction will help create memorable dining moments. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and baristas
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Assist guests with menu selections, upselling specials or beverages to enhance their experience and increase sales
Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper handling, serving, and sanitation procedures
Manage guest requests efficiently, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout your shift

Experience

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques is a plus
Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
Experience in food preparation or kitchen work can be advantageous for understanding meal components and timing
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
