Overview

Join a dedicated and dynamic care team as a CQC Registered Manager for a reputable care home specializing in senior care. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations. Your expertise will foster a compassionate environment where residents receive personalized care tailored to their needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care. Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of the care home’s operations, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and regulations
Develop, implement, and regularly review individual care plans that promote independence and well-being for residents
Supervise and support care staff, fostering a positive team environment through effective leadership and supervision
Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and accuracy in line with legal requirements
Coordinate specialized care services such as dementia and Alzheimer's care to meet residents’ unique needs
Monitor quality assurance processes, conduct audits, and implement improvements to enhance service delivery
Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff records, and regulatory compliance

Skills

Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a strong understanding of senior care practices
Extensive knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s care strategies
Demonstrated management skills with experience supervising teams within a care home or similar setting
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
Familiarity with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and compliance requirements
Competence in creating comprehensive care plans tailored to individual resident needs
Experience in medication administration, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Excellent communication skills for liaising effectively with residents, families, staff, and external agencies
Knowledge of home care services and how they integrate within residential settings
