Full job description

SolarFrame Direct is Yorkshire’s leading distributor and installer of home improvement products.

As Installations Manager you are responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end installation process of our products, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety regulations. This role plays a crucial part in delivering high-standard installations while leading and supporting the installation teams to meet business objectives.

Responsibilites include:

Daily management of the Installation Coordinators
Oversee all active projects.
Providing expert technical support to the wider team
Approve and order additional products and materials when required
Resolve all site issues in a timely manner
Communicate with the wider business regarding project statuses
Manage customer debt ensuring it is kept to a minimum
Complete site visits when required – Problems/debt
Ensure all projects are adequately controlled
Resolve customer complaints and disputes in a timely and professional manner
Ensure that subcontractors comply with our ‘Code of Conduct’
Ensure that installation teams have adequate supplies of Uniform and PPE
Be the main point of contact for our designated Building Control company
Continually strive to identify department efficiencies
Adopt and implement all business processes and procedures
Ensure Health and Safety and regulatory compliance
Provide support to the service department

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, installations environment. You will be capable of handling multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of organisation and professionalism.

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience in Installation processes
Technical expertise and people management
Must have previous experience completing quality fitting works
Fenestration industry experience
Construction knowledge
Health and Safety and CDM knowledge
Famililar with MS Office
Intermediate+ IT skills
Driving for work
Knowledge of various trades
Completing Site Inspections
