Full job description

About the Role:

London is a major centre for consulting, finance, technology, and business transformation. At Wisemen Consulting Group Ltd, we help organisations improve workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and build more reliable operating processes.

We are looking for a Business Process Analyst who can examine how work is completed, identify performance gaps, and recommend practical improvements across people, systems, and procedures.

You will work closely with clients, business analysts, operations teams, project managers, and technology specialists to document current processes, define future ways of working, and support successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Mapping:

Document current and future workflows using clear process maps, diagrams, and supporting notes.

Requirements Gathering:

Meet with stakeholders to understand operational needs, business rules, process problems, and improvement priorities.

Gap Analysis:

Compare current performance with desired outcomes and identify weaknesses, duplication, delays, and control issues.

Process Improvement:

Recommend practical changes that improve efficiency, accuracy, service quality, and consistency.

Workshop Facilitation:

Plan and support meetings and workshops with clients, users, managers, and technical teams.

Data Analysis:

Review operational data, service measures, error rates, volumes, and turnaround times to support process decisions.

Business Rules:

Document policies, decision points, approvals, responsibilities, exceptions, and dependencies within each process.

Solution Design:

Work with project and technology teams to define improved processes that can be supported by systems, automation, or revised procedures.

Change Impact Assessment:

Identify how proposed changes may affect employees, customers, suppliers, systems, and service delivery.

Implementation Support:

Assist with process testing, user acceptance activities, training preparation, and the transition to new ways of working.

Performance Measurement:

Define suitable performance indicators and help teams monitor whether implemented changes deliver the expected results.

Documentation:

Prepare process guides, standard operating procedures, user instructions, analysis reports, and recommendation papers.

Risk Identification:

Identify operational, compliance, control, and implementation risks within existing and proposed processes.

Stakeholder Communication:

Provide clear updates, explain findings, and present recommendations to client and internal stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

Review implemented changes, collect feedback, and recommend further improvements where required.

Project Collaboration:

Work with project managers, consultants, analysts, and delivery teams to keep process work aligned with wider project objectives.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in process analysis, business analysis, operations improvement, consulting, project support, or a related role.

Education:

A degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.

Process Analysis Knowledge:

Good understanding of process mapping, gap analysis, requirements gathering, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Analytical Skills:

Ability to review complex information, identify patterns, challenge assumptions, and develop practical recommendations.

Tools:

Experience with Microsoft Visio, Excel, Power BI, Miro, Lucidchart, Jira, or similar analysis and documentation tools is preferred.

Documentation Skills:

Ability to produce clear process maps, procedures, reports, presentations, and implementation materials.

Communication Skills:

Strong spoken and written English is required, together with the confidence to communicate with clients, operational teams, and project stakeholders.

Problem Solving:

Ability to investigate process issues logically, identify root causes, and recommend realistic solutions.

Organisation:

Ability to manage multiple assignments, maintain accurate records, and meet project deadlines.

You are analytical, organised, and improvement-focused. You ask thoughtful questions, challenge inefficient processes professionally, and balance ideal solutions with practical business needs.

Pay: £3,300.00-£3,800.00 per month
