Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager for our vibrant newly opening restaurant/pub/guest accommodation to lead daily operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this role, you will oversee service quality, manage team members, ensure food safety standards, and create an inviting atmosphere for guests. Your leadership will drive exceptional customer experiences while maintaining smooth kitchen and bar operations. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your hospitality expertise and lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Competitive rate of pay to be discussed at interview dependent upon experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily restaurant/pub operations, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness.
Lead and motivate a diverse team of bartenders, kitchen staff, and support personnel to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards.
Manage team schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance to foster a positive work environment.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food production, handling, and serving.
Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper stock levels for kitchen and bar areas.
Handle guest inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business.

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or pub setting, with strong team management skills.
Restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
Familiarity with hospitality standards including serving procedures.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of food production processes, kitchen operations, and hospitality industry standards.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in culinary roles or bar service enhances suitability for this position.
