Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various tools and materials. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience in plumbing and related trades to contribute to high-quality projects while developing their skills further.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with safety standards and building codes.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues such as leaks or blockages and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality.
Assist in the assembly of plumbing components and related mechanical systems for new installations or refurbishments.
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repair work.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for each project.
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in plumbing, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems and mechanical principles.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic carpentry techniques.
Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices within the industry.
Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical drawings.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Experience with commercial driving is advantageous but not essential.
Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in plumbing or related trades are preferred but not mandatory. This role offers an engaging environment where skilled tradespeople can thrive while contributing to essential infrastructure projects.
