Full job description

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista/Bar Staff to join our vibrant Clubhouse Team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, food service, and creating a memorable experience for customers. Prior experience in the food industry or café setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this dynamic role.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and beverages with precision and care
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring quick and friendly service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
Handle food safety protocols and food handling procedures according to health standards
Assist with food preparation, including basic food handling tasks as needed
Manage cash register operations, including cashiering and retail math calculations
Engage with customers to promote products, upsell items, and enhance their overall experience
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper serving techniques
Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation standards and safety procedures

Experience

Previous barista experience or coffee industry background is highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
Experience in food handling, serving, or retail math is beneficial
Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and quality standards
