Full job description

Dr Curran & Partners,

We are currently looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic, and hard-working GP Receptionist to work in a busy GP practice, with over 11000 patients. Training provided to the right candidate. Must have a willingness to learn. We are open till 8 pm Mon-Tues and 7 pm Wed to Fri. Surgery opens at 8 am. On occasion, you may be required to cover staff sickness or absence. Would suit someone returning to work.

Essential requirements:

The ability to work on your own initiative and in a team.
Good IT skills
Professional and organized
Good communication skills
Enjoy working with the public
The ability to work under pressure
A keen attention to detail
A proven dedication to maintaining high standards
An understanding of the importance of confidentiality in the workplace and able to follow data protection policies and guidelines
The ability to follow processes and procedures accurately and efficiently

Desirable:

Previous GP Surgery experience
EMIS experience
Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Depending on experience
Job Types: Fixed contract 12 months.
