Position: Front of House Assistant

Location: Orpington Golf Centre, BR5 3HY

Salary: £12.76 per hour

Job Type: Flexible (0 hours) - May require lone working and serving alcohol.

You’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for our customers, supporting both our Reception and Food & Beverage areas. Whether you’re greeting customers, answering queries, handling bookings or serving food and drinks, you’ll help ensure every customer receives a friendly and professional service.

Key Duties:

To deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner and to ensure the highest level of customer enjoyment and satisfaction, meeting the Customer Service Standards.
To administer customer bookings using computerised and manual systems, and ensuring all customers are booked in correctly.
To administer the hire of equipment and deposit system.
To record and administer any lost property as per the procedure and assist with any general administrative duties as requested.
Ensure that all information displayed in the reception area is up to date and regularly restocked.
Adhere to data protection requirements as highlighted in training.
To maintain all appropriate records, systems and financial procedures in accordance with the Company guidelines.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the reception area. Completing daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance checks in line with manufacturer’s instructions and site-specific schedule.

Food and Beverage:

Greet and serve customers in a friendly manner on arrival.
Follow Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Regulations when preparing, cooking and delivering food to customers.
Adhere to portion control guidelines and presentation standards. Make sure to also ensure you are compliant to food and drink labelling guidance and stock rotation guidance.
Ensure any vending machines are kept fully stocked and assist with filling the machines and ensure that the F&B area is safe, clean and warm before customers enter.

Role requirements:

Please note: Due to the nature of this role, there may be occasions when you are required to work alone and serve alcohol. Applicants should be comfortable and able to work independently in a lone-working environment.
Basic IT and Administration skills.
