Full job description

Join our friendly patient-focused team in a busy chiropractic clinic. This is a rewarding front-of-house role with real variety and responsibility, perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and keeping things running smoothly.

About The Role:

We are looking for a Receptionist to provide a warm welcome to our patients and ensure the clinic runs efficiently. You'll be the first point of contact and an essential part of our small, supportive team.

Hours:

15 hours a week with alternating Friday/Saturday mornings.

Clinic hours are 9:00-7:00 pm, reception shifts are 5 hours.

The shift pattern: Monday 2:00-7:00 pm. Tuesday 2:00-7:00 pm. Alternating Friday 9:00-2:00 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.

Some holiday cover and sickness cover will occasionally be required. We pay overtime when clinics run late.

We have a team of 3 receptionists who cover the week between them. Other than holiday cover we don't have the possibility of offering more hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming patients and creating a warm first impression
Managing day to day running of the clinic
Organising and booking appointments (in person and over the phone)
Handling payments and maintaining accurate records
Typing reports and carrying out general administration tasks
Keeping the clinic tidy and organised (including washing and folding patient gowns)
Using our clinic software confidently

About you:

We are looking for someone who is approachable and empathetic.
A confident communicator, both face to face and over the phone
Accurate and detail-focused- handling appointments and payments.
Self-directed and reliable- able to handle reception independently.
Calm, professional and a team player.

Previous experience in customer service or reception is helpful- full training will be provided.
