Full job description

Compressed Air Solutions is a small business based in Cosby, Leicestershire. We are looking to recruit a new Technical Sales Administrator to support our existing sales team.

Hours of work:

40 hours per week, 8 hours per day (start times to be agreed between 8am and 9am).

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Holiday Entitlement:

28 days (inclusive of 8 statutory UK bank holidays), plus three additional days during our Christmas shut down period (between December 25th and January 1st).

The Role:

Primarily the Administrator will be based at the Company’s head office in Cosby, Leicestershire. The principal requirement of the Technical Sales Administrator will be to assist the sales team with the sale of service, pipework and compressed air equipment.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and process sales enquiries for new and existing customers, liaising with Account Managers for follow up actions.

· Create Sales Order IDs for customer enquiries.

· Produce Excel costing sheets for service contracts, pipework, and equipment quotations.

· Prepare service projection summaries for full-service contracts where applicable.

· Produce professional quotation documents using company templates (Word).

· Submit quotations for management approval before issue.

· Email approved quotations to customers or coordinate hand delivery by Account Managers.

· Update bespoke database records with quotation dates, values, delivery methods, and supporting documentation as orders progress.

· On occasion, coordinate diaries and site visits for Account Managers.

· Liaise with internal departments to ensure quotations are completed accurately and on time.

The Person – Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

· Relevant technical experience in industries such as engineering, manufacturing or construction.

· Excellent organisational and time management skills.

· Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills.

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

· Excellent written and verbal communication.

· Ability to prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.

· Experience in sales administration, project administration, or customer service.

· Comfortable working with technical documentation and costing spreadsheets.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Pay: From £26,500.00 per year
