Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Night Chef to join our team for night shifts on a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule. Friendly and professional team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead culinary operations during evening hours, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will bring energetic leadership, culinary expertise, and a commitment to food safety, all while inspiring a motivated kitchen team. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to create memorable dining experiences, this position is perfect for you!

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking during night shifts, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient team performance
Manage food production processes, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and ensuring freshness and safety standards are met
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area
Lead by example in food serving practices, fostering a positive and energetic work environment
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow during evening hours
Monitor kitchen operations closely, troubleshoot issues promptly, and implement improvements for efficiency

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a busy culinary or hospitality setting
Extensive food production and preparation skills with a strong culinary background
Demonstrated team management and leadership abilities to motivate staff effectively
Solid kitchen experience with expertise in cooking techniques and food safety standards
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including serving practices and customer service excellence
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong commitment to hospitality values and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Pay: £17.00 per hour
