Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across guest rooms and communal areas. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a professional environment, providing essential services that contribute to guest satisfaction and overall operational excellence. Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial services is highly desirable. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas in accordance with organisational standards
Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a pristine environment
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues
Assist with additional tasks such as laundry or organising supplies when needed

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred but not essential
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift
