Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will become part of a team where safety, quality and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.

Main Responsibilities

Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
Verifying goods against delivery documentation for accuracy
Carrying out quality checks on products received
Putting stock away into the correct warehouse locations
Replenishing pick faces to ensure stock availability
Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
Ensuring stock is correctly rotated and stored
Assisting with stock counts and maintaining inventory accuracy
Maintaining high standards of warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping
Ensuring all working areas remain organised, safe and audit-ready
Following all company procedures and Health & Safety regulations at all times
Supporting the wider warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
Previous experience within the foodservice, food manufacturing or food distribution industry would be advantageous
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
Experience checking goods and working with delivery documentation
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) would be advantageous
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop
Good organisational and time management skills
Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties
The ability to work in ambient, chilled and frozen warehouse environments when required
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A valid FLT licence and forklift experience would be advantageous
