Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team! As a key player in our kitchen, you will assist in leading food preparation, ensuring top-quality dishes, and maintaining a lively, efficient work environment. Duties

Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including supervising staff and coordinating food production
Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met or exceeded
Lead by example in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and cleanliness to maintain a safe and efficient kitchen environment
Support team management by mentoring junior staff, delegating tasks, and fostering a collaborative atmosphere
Ensure timely delivery of dishes during service hours while maintaining high standards of hospitality and serving excellence
Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage storage to minimize waste and control costs
Uphold all health regulations and food safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse kitchen staff
Extensive kitchen experience with a focus on culinary excellence and attention to detail
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards
Exceptional leadership qualities combined with effective communication skills
Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure while delivering outstanding service and hospitality
