About Us:
We’re a fast-growing marketing agency specialising in the fitness industry, proudly ranked as the 3rd leading gym marketing agency in the UK.

We help over 80+ gyms across the UK generate leads and grow their memberships and we’ve recently launched a sister company working with local service-based businesses across South Wales (plumbers, salons, trades, and more) to help them win more clients through digital marketing.

We’re now looking for a driven and confident Business Development Sales Executive to join our Cardiff team and help us continue our growth.

The Role:
This is a hands-on sales and business development role where your main responsibility will be turning new opportunities into paying clients.

You'll be speaking directly with business owners who have enquired about our marketing services, understanding what they're looking to achieve and selling them the right digital marketing solution for their business.

You'll also be responsible for generating new opportunities through proactive outreach - identifying businesses we'd love to work with and starting conversations via phone, email, LinkedIn and social media.

You'll take ownership of opportunities from the initial conversation through to the sale, including following up with prospects who aren't ready to make a decision straight away.

This is a full-time, onsite role in our Cardiff office, ideal for someone who loves speaking to people, enjoys sales and is motivated by targets, commission and winning new business.

The Opportunity:

This isn't a role where you'll simply be booking appointments and passing them on.

You'll own the sales conversation.

From picking up the phone when a new lead comes in, to understanding their business, presenting our services, following up and ultimately bringing them onboard as a client.

At the same time, you'll be helping us create new opportunities by proactively reaching out to businesses we'd love to work with.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Calling new inbound leads who enquire about our digital marketing services
Responding to new enquiries quickly and professionally
Speaking directly with business owners to understand their goals, challenges and current marketing
Explaining our digital marketing services and demonstrating how we can help them generate more leads and sales
Converting qualified opportunities into paying clients
Following up consistently with leads and prospects to maximise conversion
Proactively generating new leads through cold calling, email, LinkedIn and social media outreach
Researching and identifying businesses that fit our ideal client profile
Managing your own sales pipeline and keeping our CRM fully up to date
Working closely with our marketing team to maximise the opportunities generated through our own campaigns
Achieving agreed weekly and monthly sales and activity targets
Bringing fresh ideas to the team around prospecting, lead generation and improving our sales process

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone who is comfortable picking up the phone and selling.

You'll be a great fit if you:

Are a confident and natural communicator
Enjoy speaking with business owners and aren't afraid of the phone
Have previous experience in sales, telesales, business development or lead generation
Are comfortable handling objections and asking for the sale
Are persistent with follow-up without being pushy
Are motivated by targets, results and uncapped commission
Can confidently manage multiple leads and conversations at once
Are organised and comfortable using a CRM
Have the drive to proactively find opportunities rather than waiting for leads to come to you
Have an interest in digital marketing, fitness or helping small businesses grow

Experience selling in the Fitness industry would be a big advantage.
