Overview

Are you passionate about creating memorable experiences and delivering exceptional guest service? We’re seeking a dynamic and outgoing Front of House All-Rounder to join our vibrant team! In this lively role, you’ll be the friendly face welcoming guests, ensuring smooth service, and supporting various front-of-house operations. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a warm, inviting atmosphere where every guest feels valued and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills. We are a very welcoming and easy going team.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to create a welcoming atmosphere
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and baristas
Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
Support food safety protocols by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic plating and garnishing to ensure timely service
Upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing the guest experience
Manage cash register transactions accurately and handle payments efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and service stations throughout your shift
Collaborate with team members

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred
Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation skills
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a lively environment
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and sales performance
Barista experience would be amazing but not essential
Baking experience a plus but not essential
