We are a Registered Firearms Dealer, gun shop and gunsmith supplying firearms, ammunition, optics, specialist parts
and shooting accessories. We also provide bespoke rifle builds, servicing, RFD transfers, US imports and other shooting-related services.
This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of our gunroom, stock operation and online order fulfilment. A large part of the job will involve receiving and organising products, maintaining accurate stock records, preparing customer orders and helping to keep the gunroom running efficiently.
The Role
Goods In and Stock Control
- Receive deliveries from suppliers and check items against purchase orders, order confirmations and delivery paperwork.
- Book incoming products into our stock-management system accurately, including serial numbers and other identifying details where applicable.
- Check quantities, product details, prices and condition, and report damaged, incorrect or missing items.
- Label, organise and store products in the correct locations, keeping shelves, storage areas and the gunroom tidy and secure.
- Carry out periodic stock counts, reconcile physical stock against system records and help investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels against agreed reordering rules and flag products that require replenishment.
- Raise supplier purchase orders, check order confirmations and monitor outstanding, back-ordered and overdue items.
- Source specialist products and parts from UK and overseas suppliers, including items ordered on behalf of individual customers.
Products and Website Listings
- Help maintain accurate product and stock information in Odoo and on our website.
- Research products and keep descriptions, specifications, availability and pricing accurate and up to date.
- Photograph products, carry out basic image editing and publish complete listings with the relevant specifications and information.
- Create or update product records, categories, images, prices and other website fields where required.
- Assemble, label and package manufactured or own-brand products ready for retail sale.
Orders and Dispatch
- Pick, check, pack and dispatch website and telephone orders using an accurate working knowledge of storage locations and stock organisation.
- Generate and print product, price, address and shipping labels.
- Produce delivery paperwork and arrange collections with approved couriers.
- Check customer certificates, licences and associated documentation, escalate any uncertainty, and process transactions in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist with sales orders, customer collections, RFD transfers and the booking-in of firearms for servicing or workshop work.

- Help customers by telephone, email and in person when required, providing a positive, practical and professional service.
- Pass technical, licensing or gunsmithing enquiries to the appropriate member of the team.
- Assist at Blue Rifle & Pistol Club shoots and other events, including welcoming attendees, helping customers and supporting qualified instructors and event staff within your training and competence.
- Maintain clear internal notes, checklists and compliance-sensitive records.
- Assist with other practical gunroom, stock and administrative duties as needed.
Firearms, ammunition and controlled products must be handled and recorded in accordance with our procedures. Full training
will be provided, and you will not be expected to work beyond your knowledge, training or authority.
