Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking system One trained and an organised and proactive Practice Administrator to join our busy and friendly team. This is a key role within the practice, providing administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating administrative activities, supporting staff, Gp's, and helping deliver a high standard of service to patients and visitors.

Duties

Managing and maintaining accurate records through data entry, scanning, workflow
Handling correspondence via email, phone calls, and other communication channels with professionalism and courtesy
Typing letters / referrals/ Emails
Oversee the daily administrative functions of the practice
Dealing with medical record requests
Ensuring the office environment remains organised, tidy, and efficient
Responding promptly to enquiries and providing excellent phone etiquette
The roles are varied and duties include but not limited

Qualifications

Proven office experience or administrative experience in a professional setting
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Quick Books or similar accounting software is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Fast and accurate typing skills for data entry purposes
Good communication skills and professional phone etiquette
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Familiarity with clerical procedures and office management systems

This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking to utilise their administrative expertise in a dynamic environment. The position offers valuable experience in office management while contributing to the organisation’s success.

Pay: £24,420.00-£35,500.00 per year
