Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for decorating cakes, with a keen eye for detail and an artistic flair. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning cakes that meet our customers' specifications while adhering to food safety and quality standards.

Duties

Design and decorate cakes according to customer requests, ensuring high-quality presentation.
Prepare various types of cakes including custom cakes
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely production of cakes for orders.
Assist in the development of new cake designs and flavours to enhance our product offerings.
Conduct regular inventory checks of decorating supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.

Skills

Proficient in decorating cakes
Strong understanding of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
Experience working as a cake decorator in commercial environment
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Creative mindset with an ability to conceptualise unique designs for cakes.
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of orders.
Friendly and confident when speaking with customers
Comfortable handling phone calls and taking custom orders
Willing to help in other areas of the kitchen as needed
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
