Full job description

Apply specialist coatings in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
Assemble and erect mobile and aluminium scaffolding towers as required.
Undertake non-complex tasks of other trades including fault finding.
Carry a bleep/pager to ensure a responsive service.
Liaise closely with other trade groups, contractors, staff, end users, service providers and manufactures in order to ensure that the Trust receives the highest standard of service.
Participate in the on-call gritting rota when requested.
Willing to undertake work outside normal working hours as and when required.
The post holder should be able to demonstrate leadership skills and will be multi skilled on work across a range of traditional modern and complex building structures and engineering areas.
Undertake essential decorating works and general building maintenance activities at the request of the Estates Building Manager / Senior Estates Building Manager.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with managers, colleagues, contractors and trust wide service users.

codes of good practice.

Keep plans, electronic and hard copy records, spread sheet statistical data and ensure such records etc. are correct, updated and revised as necessary. Hold a full UK driving licence.
All vehicles are driven safely and driving licence is maintained.
Required to drive appropriate Trust vehicles for transporting personnel or equipment, 100% of records, both electronically and paper based, are kept up to date.
Assist with, and support the Trusts building managers in project work, new equipment testing and commissioning, specifications, surveys, costing and other similar duties. Undertake inspections for pre-installations and investigate services which may be required for new equipment and carry out minor installation improvement works
