Full job description

Bodega 18 Falmouth is looking for an experienced waiter/waitress to join our team!

We’re a tapas bar specialising in exciting small plates who take pride in delivering exceptional service in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

About the Role:

Hours: 10-25 hours per week. Opportunity to pick up more shifts during peak seasons.
Shifts: Must be available for weekend shifts. Late finishes ( around 11pm) required – please ensure you can get home safely at these times.
Experience: At least one year in a similar role is essential.
Must be available during the summer holidays.

What We’re Looking For:

A friendly and professional attitude with excellent customer service skills.
The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork skills – we’re a small, close-knit team!
A genuine interest in food and drink, with a willingness to learn about our menu to make great recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

Taking orders and liaising with the kitchen.
Having a strong knowledge of the food and drinks menu to assist guests.
Warmly welcoming and seating customers.
Handling bookings and managing the booking system.
Daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning.
Making drinks and running food.

Generous tips – a fair share of tips daily - usually around £15 to £40 per shift.
