Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Person to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities.

The ideal candidate will...

Have a strong background in various maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs on the premises, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues, ensuring all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests, prioritizing tasks to ensure minimal disruption.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any significant issues to the management team.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Liaise with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance when necessary.
Assist in emergency situations, such as power outages or equipment failures

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar maintenance role
Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general maintenance.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with residents, staff, and external contractors.
A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
Have a valid full UK driving license
