Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality support to individuals within their own homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in IT, and have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
Communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, and family members to ensure seamless care delivery
Support with medication administration as per training and regulations
Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments when required
Ensure the safety and comfort of all individuals under your care at all times

Requirements

Previous experience working within providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving home visits or outings
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Strong IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans
Excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with residents and colleagues
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in caring for others
