Part-Time Dental Receptionist

Join Our Friendly, Family-Oriented Dental Practice

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and personable Dental Receptionist to join our busy, dynamic and forward-thinking dental practice.

We pride ourselves on providing our patients with a very high standard of care, professionalism and service, and we are looking for someone who shares these values. You will be an important part of the patient journey, creating a warm and welcoming experience from the moment patients contact or enter the practice.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for a varied range of front-of-house and administrative duties, including:

Managing and coordinating the appointment books efficiently
Welcoming and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner
Answering telephone calls and responding to patient emails promptly
Taking payments and handling associated administrative tasks
Preparing and arranging consent forms and other patient paperwork
Maintaining accurate patient records and carrying out filing
Managing and monitoring practice stock levels
Carrying out general administrative and reception duties
Supporting the wider dental team with day-to-day practice requirements
Maintaining a clean, organised and professional reception environment
Carrying out other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the practice

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly professional, with a consistently high standard of professionalism in their appearance, communication and conduct
Friendly, approachable and confident when dealing with patients
Professional, reliable and exceptionally well organised
Able to work efficiently and calmly in a busy practice environment
An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
Comfortable learning and using a dedicated dental practice management system
Computer literate and able to learn new systems quickly
Detail-oriented, with excellent administrative and organisational skills
Able to prioritise and multitask effectively
A team player who is willing to help wherever needed
Committed to providing an excellent standard of patient care and service
Positive, adaptable and keen to contribute to a dynamic, forward-thinking practice
Discreet and respectful when handling confidential patient information
