Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Chef to lead our culinary team and create exceptional dining experiences. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver delicious, beautifully presented dishes that delight our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, foster teamwork, and elevate our restaurant’s reputation through innovative cuisine and outstanding service.

Duties

Lead and supervise the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service
Oversee food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to maintain high-quality standards
Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
Enforce food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices at all times
Train, mentor, and motivate team members to enhance their culinary skills and teamwork
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

Proven experience in a culinary leadership role with supervising responsibilities
Extensive kitchen experience with a strong background in food production and cooking techniques
Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead a diverse group of staff effectively
Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant health regulations
Strong culinary expertise with a passion for hospitality and serving guests
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Previous restaurant experience preferred; hospitality background is a plus
