Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive E-commerce Warehouse Administrator to join our busy warehouse office team.

Working as part of our operations department, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently from receipt through to dispatch. You will act as the link between our customers and the warehouse and transport teams, ensuring orders are uploaded correctly, picking documentation is created, deliveries are arranged and customer enquiries are handled professionally.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, problem-solving and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Process and upload customer orders into the warehouse management system.
Create picking lists and dispatch documentation for the warehouse team.
Monitor customer orders from receipt through to delivery.
Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
Liaise with the transport department to arrange and book customer deliveries, ensuring delivery requirements are met.
Track deliveries and provide customers with updates where required.
Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner.
Investigate and resolve customer queries, delivery issues and complaints.
Maintain accurate customer records and order information.
Assist with stock and inventory queries.
Maintain and deliver customer KPIs.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an administration role within a warehouse, logistics or e-commerce environment would be great but is not essential. Any experience in an administration role would be beneficial.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.

Desirable but not essential

Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Knowledge of Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, eBay or other online sales platforms.
Experience processing customer orders and handling customer complaints.
Experience working with transport providers or booking customer deliveries.
Understanding of warehouse and fulfilment operations.
