Full job description

Coxhead Cleaning Services are currently recruiting for a Early Morning Cleaning Operative (Driver) to join our daytime operations team.

This role involves driving between locations as part of the working day and supporting cleaning teams across a range of sites. The work is predominantly commercial, including offices and commercial premises, with some domestic support where required to assist the day team.

Working hours

Monday - Friday
6:00am – 12:30pm (30 hours per week)

The role

As a Cleaning Operative (Driver), you will play a key role in maintaining high cleaning standards across multiple locations. You will work as part of a team, travelling between sites in a company vehicle, and carrying out cleaning duties in line with agreed specifications.

This is a team-based role, not lone working, and requires a good level of energy, reliability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

Carrying out cleaning duties across multiple sites during early morning hours, ensuring all areas meet required hygiene and presentation standards
Driving between locations as required, using company vehicles and adhering to all road safety and company driving procedures
Supporting predominantly commercial cleaning contracts, with some domestic support where required
Working efficiently as part of a team to complete tasks within agreed timeframes
Using cleaning equipment and materials correctly and reporting any faults or shortages promptly
Maintaining a professional and courteous approach when on client premises
Following all company policies, cleaning specifications, and health and safety procedures

The successful candidate

Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
Must have a clear criminal record
An Enhanced DBS check will be carried out and any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory clearance
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a small team
Able to work on own initiative when required
Good communication skills and a positive work ethic

Full training and uniform will be provided.

Pay

Hourly rate above minimum wage, age dependent
Rate subject to successful completion of probation
