Job Title: Area Sales Manager (North West)

Salary: £45,000 + monthly bonus potential (25–35%) — OTE £56,250 – £60,750

Hours: 39 hours per week | Monday–Friday

Job Purpose: We’re looking for an ambitious, results driven Area Sales Manager who thrives on winning new business, building strong customer relationships and delivering results.

Taking ownership of your territory, you’ll have the freedom to develop your area, identify new opportunities and turn prospects into long-term customers. You’ll create and execute sales strategies that generate leads, grow existing accounts and drive performance against monthly targets.

Working closely with a dedicated Internal Sales Executive, who will manage and progress the internal sales pipeline, and a Customer Service Executive, who will take care of day-to-day administration, you’ll have the support around you to focus on getting in front of customers, developing opportunities, winning new business and growing your territory.

Responsibilities:

Take ownership of your territory, driving sales of Deanta’s comprehensive range of high quality products across builders’ merchants, door retailers and other key customers.
Deliver against monthly sales targets, working closely with the wider Sales Team to support Deanta’s overall sales strategy and growth ambitions.
Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities, proactively growing your customer base across your geographical area.
Onboard new customers and grow existing accounts, identifying opportunities to increase spend, strengthen relationships and deliver long-term account growth.
Build a strong understanding of your local market, competitor activity and customer landscape to uncover new leads and commercial opportunities.
Work collaboratively with Marketing and the wider commercial team to support campaigns, increase brand presence and maximise sales opportunities within your territory.
Plan and manage your own diary, travel and customer visits, ensuring effective territory coverage and maximising your time in front of customers.

Skills & experience:

Proven success in field-based sales, with experience selling into builders’ merchants.
A natural relationship builder, with the ability to develop and maintain strong, long-term customer partnerships.
A consistent track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Confident interpreting sales data and using insights to identify opportunities and drive territory growth.
A proactive new-business mindset, with the drive and determination to seek out, develop and convert new opportunities.
