Overview

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Staff member to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, a strong understanding of food safety standards, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment where your skills in serving and hospitality are valued and developed.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Provide friendly and attentive service to all customers, creating an enjoyable experience
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with health and safety regulations
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible serving practices
Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages
Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system
Follow food safety procedures when handling snacks or complementary items
Assist with organising events or special promotions as required

Experience

Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant environment is essential
Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and excellent customer service skills
Familiarity with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Good organisational skills with effective time management abilities
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring repeat business
