Full job description

Immediate start preferred – ideally during September, so there is a proper handover with our current team member before they finish on Friday 2 October

Are you looking for a full time stable, front-of-house role where you can feel comfortable, trusted and part of a well-run professional environment?

We’re looking for a friendly, organised and dependable Receptionist / Administrator who enjoys working with people, keeping things running smoothly, and settling into a role long term.

This is a varied but structured position combining front-of-house meet and greet, appointment booking, and day-to-day administrative work. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys routine, takes pride in being reliable, and feels confident managing tasks independently once trained.

What your day-to-day will look like

Welcoming patients and visitors in a calm, professional and friendly manner
Answering phone calls and booking appointments accurately
Managing diaries and appointment schedules
Completing general admin tasks such as:
Invoices and statements
Scanning and filing documents
Data entry and record keeping
Email correspondence
Working through task lists and small projects independently
Supporting the wider team to keep everything running smoothly

This role will suit you if you:

Enjoy being front-of-house and dealing with people
Like structure, routine and clear expectations
Take pride in being organised and dependable
Prefer working through tasks calmly rather than rushing
Are comfortable using technology and happy to learn new systems
Like being trusted to get on with your work once shown what to do
Are looking for a long-term role, not something short-term or transitional

You don’t need to know everything on day one — attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are far more important.

Salary & benefits

£24,000 – £27,000 per year, pro rata (depending on experience)
28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays), pro rata

Working pattern (important)

5 days a week, worked across Monday to Saturday - you will have a set weekday off (most likely Thursday)
Weekdays 9-5.30pm

Saturdays alternate week to week: 9 - 12.30pm one week, 9 - 4.30pm the next
