Kitchen Porter

Location: Leicester City Football Club Training Ground, Seagrave
Hours: Full Time, 40 Hours per Week
Contract: Permanent

Leicester City Football Club is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our catering team at our world-class Training Ground in Seagrave.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, nutritionally focused meals that help fuel the performance of our elite athletes. Working within a fast-paced professional kitchen environment, you'll be an integral part of a team committed to excellence, teamwork, and maintaining exceptional standards every day.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for helping to keep our kitchen operating efficiently and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your duties will include:

Washing, sanitising and storing service ware and kitchen equipment.
Maintaining exceptional hygiene standards throughout food preparation and service areas.
Cleaning work surfaces, walls, floors, ovens and kitchen equipment.
Emptying and cleaning waste bins while managing recycling and rubbish disposal.
Assisting chefs with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling and preparing ingredients.
Receiving, unloading and storing deliveries correctly and safely.
Organising and maintaining storage areas, refrigerators and freezers.
Adhering to all health, safety and food hygiene procedures.
Supporting colleagues across the kitchen team to create a positive and productive working environment.
Upholding and promoting Club policies, procedures and values.

What We're Looking For

Essential

Experience working in a professional kitchen environment, ideally in a similar role.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
A positive, solution-focused attitude with a strong work ethic.
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining exceptional standards.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and Public Holidays when required.
Own transport due to the remote location of the Training Ground.

Desirable

Level 2 Food Safety Qualification (or above).
