About the Role:

We are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team. You will play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, supporting our chefs, and helping to ensure an efficient kitchen environment.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available for this position, with working hours to be discussed during the interview.

What you'll be doing:

Washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
Keeping all kitchen and food preparation areas clean, organised and hygienic.
Assisting with basic food preparation as directed by the chefs when needed.
Receiving, checking and storing deliveries safely.
Ensuring bins are emptied and waste is disposed of correctly.
Helping maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Supporting the kitchen team wherever needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What we're looking for:

A strong work ethic and great attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and part of a team
Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
An understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety is beneficial, although full training will be provided
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
Flexible availability as shifts will vary between weekends, weekdays and evenings
