Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and organised Office Administrator/Receptionist to join our team. This role involves managing front desk duties, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring smooth daily operations within our office environment. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in various computer applications, and demonstrate a proactive approach to organisational tasks. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable administrative experience within a dynamic workplace.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
Answer incoming calls, direct enquiries appropriately, and maintain a positive phone etiquette
Manage appointment scheduling and calendar organisation for staff and clients
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Maintain organised filing systems both digitally and physically
Assist with general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing
Support the preparation of reports, correspondence, and other documentation
Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
Collaborate with team members to improve office procedures and workflows

Qualifications

Previous office experience or clerical experience is preferred
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks
Good phone etiquette and strong communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Organised with the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
