Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organised Office Assistant to join our team in Garforth! In this role, you will be supporting a team of two as well as the company owner and Manager. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create an efficient, environment where everyone can thrive and alllows deadlines to be met. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative skills while contributing to our team of researchers.

Duties

Manage internal communication effectively and follow through with agreed actions.
Assist with data entry tasks, maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office applications, and online tools to help with Research Admin.
Organise and file documents both digitally and physically, ensuring easy retrieval and confidentiality.
Perform general clerical duties such as research and adding data to Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and other online tools.
Provide friendly assistance to team members when workloads are high and projects have tight deadlines.
Must live locally within easy reach of the Garforth office.

Skills

Proven experience of up to 10 years with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated administrative experience supporting busy office environments
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Strong clerical experience with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
