Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking Plasterer to join our team on a part-time basis, with the opportunity for the right person to move into a full-time position.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' plastering experience, take pride in producing a high standard of finish, and have good time management skills. You will also need a good understanding of general building work and be confident working independently.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing work areas ready for plastering
Boarding walls and ceilings, including plasterboard installation
Preparing surfaces and applying plaster to a high standard
Patching, repairs and finishing work
Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
Completing work efficiently and within agreed timescales
Carrying out general building tasks when required
Working independently and as part of a team

Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience as a plasterer
Strong knowledge of plastering techniques and surface preparation
Experience with plasterboard/boarding
Good general building knowledge
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Excellent time management
High attention to detail and pride in your work
Able to work independently and use your own initiative
Full UK driving licence preferred
