Full job description

About the Role

Chet Valley Medical Practice are keen on recruiting an Administrator to their busy practice, working 3-4 days per week.

Working with a friendly and supportive team of administrators, this role is responsible for clinical coding, supporting the reception team, booking appointments and providing adhoc administrative support.

Duties will include:

Accurately clinically code data into the patient record on the clinical system
Identify relevant clinical information documented in patient correspondence, coding appropriately and completing any detailed action
Input and extract data as required to support practice reports, audits and to capitalise upon both patient safety and QOF income
Scan patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patients’ healthcare records
Highlight all timely actions, changes to patient care and management to the relevant clinician
File and store records as required
Photocopy documentation as required
Action all incoming correspondence, emails and mail in a timely manner

About the Candidate

We would welcome applications from organised, adaptable and friendly individuals who are keen to help us provide high levels of customer service. Applicants should have the following skills and experience:

Experience of working with the general public
A good standard of education - Maths and English Grade C or above (level 4 and above)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to use own initiative
Competent with MS Outlook and Office
